IAN E. YOUNG

Ian is a member of both the employment and litigation groups at Fenton & Keller. He assists in the representation of employers and employees before courts and administrative agencies regarding wrongful termination claims, wage and hour disputes, and discrimination and harassment claims. Ian drafts various agreements and counsels employers as to personnel policies, employee handbooks, and day-to-day employment decisions. Ian also contributes to the weekly Workplace Law column in the Monterey County Herald. In addition to his employment practice, Ian provides support in general civil litigation matters for individuals, businesses, and public entities. Before returning to his hometown of Monterey to practice law, Ian worked as a legal intern in the Litigation Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General.

Labor and employment law and counseling, civil litigation.

Admitted to the California Bar in December of 2008; admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
